Florrie Robbins provides 24 hour support for adults with learning disabilities.
Admission to the home is based on a multi-professional assessment of individual need. Florrie Robbins does not intend to provide direct nursing care. However, access to specialist nursing services and community health professionals will be facilitated based on individual need.
In some instances it maybe appropriate for the staff team to be trained specifically to meet an individuals needs. For example, emergency treatment for the management of epilepsy.
Lifestyle planning, emotional and psychological support along with access to education, leisure and recreational opportunities within the community are key governing principles of the care provided at Florrie Robbins.
